"The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on, or blame. The gift is yours -- it is an amazing journey -- and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins." -- B Moawad, author

Subject: This is the LONG email I promised
To: joaoa.desilva2016@gmail.com
Hey, The other day I told you I had an email coming your way today... ...well, here it is: When Derek started Social Triggers, he had no idea about what he was planning to build. I had no idea that I'd create online courses. He had no idea that he would eventually launch a software company. I had no idea that I would be writing an email like the one I'm writing to you right now... ...but He knew I wanted to start something. Hewasn't quite sure what it was. Or what it would look like. But I knew I wanted to DO SOMETHING. And that's when He found myself in an unusual position. No matter what I wanted to do, he knew I would need to reach people. Not all people. Just the RIGHT people. And this is true whether you're just getting started... or whether you're looking to take things to the next level. You need to reach the right people. And the more people you reach, the more revenue you can pull in. I've told you my story on many occasions, but what I never said was this: Yes, my business grew by leaps and bounds over the last 5 years. But my revenue grew in lockstep with the size of my audience and email list. And it makes sense. The more people you make aware of your products and services... the more opportunity you have to attract more buyers and repeat customers. The question is how? Well... Back when I just got started, I put aside my uncertainty. Just for a little while. And I started sharing things I wanted to share. After all, if you want to reach people, the best way to do it right now is to put together content. And PROMOTE IT via one or more of the socialmedia sites. Like any business you have to tell as many people as possible it sexists and how to find and access it. If you don't have an idea yet... Create content. Promote it. And adjust course as your idea becomes more clear. Eventually all the dots will be connected, but you have to have faith that it will some how happened from the onset. It's called a funded proposal, since you're promoting and accepting cash up front for whatever it is. If you need to build your email list... Create content. Promote it. And build your email list. If you need more sales... Create content... as in and info-product. Promote it. And attract more and more of the right people into your business. Seriously. I always told people the secret behind my success - and the success of so many other people - boiled down to one little formula: Step 1: Build An Audience Step 2: Sell Them Stuff - any stuff will do I mean looka t the pet rock, which started as a joke, they though that they would sell a few like maybe 100, complete with a manual on how to care for your pet rock, but ended up selling 10,000's+ and counting.... Or the care and feeding of an electronic "pet" object similar to a cellphone today, wait it is whatwe have come to know as the cellular phone... cellphone or mobilephone today, no one leaves home without it, you have to charge it, buy accessories and apps for it etc. And guess what some got larger as much as 10" or more in diameter, they ofcourse require more care, 'coz they're more powerful Apple attempted 3 times to bring it to market, it took the popularity of innovative, iPhone concept to make it work and now you have clones the Android clones, which use a version of Linux vs IOS, since it's so popular with the mobile set who have to be connected where ever they go. All of which spawned an industry and employ thousands. And I literally got started by doing just that, is my point. The bottomline; boiled down to one little formula, again may I iterate: Step 1: Build An Audience Step 2: Sell Them Stuff - any stuff will do, eithe rbefore or after it's developed or both... Derek started his blog Social Triggers. He built my audience. And as his audience grew, they kept telling him what they wanted to learn about. And he eventually began selling them things based on what they wanted to learn. "How do I even build an audience?" "What should I even talk about?" "What if I'm not a good writer?" "What if I don't like video?" "What if..." (Some folks are afraid of the BIG "What if..." ENOUGH. No more questions. His friend Marie Forleo always says, "Clarity comes from action. Not from thought." And she's right. You need to get out of your head and you need to start doing something that could lead to an everlasting change in your life and business. I mean, look at this... This is literally the first video Derek ever published. Ridiculous. I know. It's so bad that I labeled the video as private so no one could find it. Look at it. It's about Why Bloggers Fail. The main reason? People talk about themselves too much, for the sake of talking about themselves. And He filmed a video where he yelled the word ME for a solid minute. (Obviously not realizing there is no I team, ( but there's a me.) ) Complete with cheesy Keynote animations, I might add. But again, he knew he had something to share. And he wanted to share it. And he knew by sharing it he would build his audience. And he knew if he built his audience, he could sell them stuff later. And that's what he did and I'm doing. I built my audience to currently 100,000 and counting. I then sold them stuff info-product & services stuff. I also didn't reinvent teh wheel I sold waht was available on the market, by my brand ME or in your case YOU! The good news is I can help you shortcut this entire process. Instead of "Figuring it all out" on your own, I want to show you how you can start creating content, promoting it, and leveraging the power of my simple formula: Step 1: Build An Audience. Step 2: Sell Them Stuff. What goes into it? Well... In step 1, you need to build an audience. And to do that, you need to figure out what you want to build an audience around. So I put together this worksheet for you. It's a direct link to a PDF. And when you're there, make sure you save it to your computer. If you're just getting started, this worksheet can help you get an idea. If you're looking to grow your email list, this worksheet can help you figure out who to attract on your email list. If you're looking to sell more stuff, this worksheet can help you better understand how to sell to your ideal customers. So, I put together this worksheet. Here's a direct link to the pdf. And when you're there, make sure you save it to your computer. This will help you get clarity. And then next week, I'll show you exactly what you need to do with this new found clarity.
