Hi João,

In my first email I briefly mentioned that the reason why I feel so passionate about helping others, especially women, go after their dreams, is because of my own story.

Today I want to explain a little more about how I got to where I am today.

Because just a few short years ago, things were looking completely different for me.

"Hopeless" is probably the word I would use to describe my year 2016.

I was going through a really rough time after breaking up with the guy I thought I was going to be with forever.

I had walked away from the business I had helped him build and turn into a million dollar company (unfortunately, I didn't see any of that money).

I had left behind my entire life, my friends, everything I had spent the past 5 years building.

And I started over.

See, at 29, I moved back in with my mom. I had no money to my name. And no idea what I was going to do with my life.

This, definitely, was NOT how I imagined turning 30...

I started my Instagram account, and my business actually, as a way to escape my reality, it forced me to think about something else other than the breakup.

And to be honest, I never dreamt that this tiny account would lead me to where I am today.

Within the past 2 years I've learned a lot about this platform - I mean, hey, it pretty much is the backbone of my business!

Instagram is what has allowed me to:

• Create my ultimate laptop lifestyle and to travel all year round, hosting workshops and talks everywhere I go.
• Build an audience of over 20k highly engaged followers, and a community of raving fans who buy my online courses, and invest in my 1:1 coaching.
• Connect with amazing brands I love and support, who want to pay me to try their products and share my opinion.

And no, I'm not telling you this because I want to brag.

I'm telling you this because I know that if this was possible for me, it's possible for you, too.

@nomadista_nutrition, @thatnutritiouslife, and @simplegreenrecipes all grew their following to over +10k in less than a year of working with me.

@collegenutritionist even went from 14k to 150k followers in under 12 months.

But truth is, the # of followers alone doesn't equal success.

I've had students like @hnnh.gram or @mindfullyintuitivenutrition land paid sponsored posts before they even had 1000 followers.
