The greatest strength that is actually behind network marketing is actually in their distribution. The more people that join your company then the more distributors to sell your product and the people who join this business are usually committed because they had paid to be able to enter.
However, this is just the ideal concept of what multi-level network marketing should be. Right now as it stands, there are a lot of pyramid or ponzi schemes posing as legitimate network marketing companies; some have or are penny auctions, that even have products to sell. But sometimes, these products are targeted more at the distributors themselves rather than the potential customers and that is what differentiates a legitimate network marketing company from a fake one.
The real problem with network marketing is not really the model in itself because face it; network marketing is one of the best type of business models especially for those with little capital to invest. Distributors have the opportunity to sell and to earn a profit without having to invest heavily in research and development and promotions for their products. In short, they instantly have a product to sell once they join a network marketing company without having to start from scratch on their own. And there is the fact that you can even become rich if you are diligent in this endeavor.
So, if the problem is not with the business model then what is the real problem to be concerned about? It is really hard to admit it, but the real problem actually lies with the distributors themselves. Basically, this arose from the fact that most people who join network marketing companies have no experience in running a business and therefore have unrealistically high expectations once they enter. Members have to realize that network marketing is just like owning your own business even if you had the advantage of investing little capital and having instant product to sell. Members must also remember that network marketing is still a business and you are not going to earn if you do not put any effort into it.
Network marketing is actually a good chance for members to experience having their own business and know all the functions associated with it like marketing, public relations, among other things. Looking at multi-level network marketing as an easy way to earn is not the answer to having your financial problems solved. Being realistic and putting effort into this endeavor is the solution to attaining success not only in this field but in other fields as well.
