Niantic: Permanent Ban for Pokémon Go Cheaters!

Do you play Pokemon Go and keep up with the rules, but you sometimes do not quite follow the rules? You bend them a little. Caution! Game Publisher Niantic will tackle cheating Pokemon Go players, harder. People who use cheats to avoid risk in the game to be permanently removed from the game. And you do not want that, of course! These are people who use fake location software, for example.

According to a new page that has surfaced on the website of Niantic. Niantic specifically mentions the use of software that forged location, a reason to ban you from the game.

"This includes, but is not limited to: falsifying your location, using emulators, modified or unofficial software and / or acces signin for Pokémon GO clients or backends in an unauthorized manner mouse clicking - including through the use of third party software."

- Niantic

The bans thus appear to be aimed at players using GPS spoofing, bots and other software techniques which make it possible to cheat in the game. GPS spoofing, you can let your phone think it's in another country, so you can capture other Pokemon that are not in or that are rare in, say the Netherlands or some other country. Bots automate portions of the game. There are also apps that run in the background and send you a notification when there is a Pokémon nearby. This way you do not have to be, all the time,on the Pokemon Go app.

Many users play the game without aids and find it annoying that those are used more and more for cheating and thusly more and more people unjustly collect as many Pokémon as they can extralegally. Apparently, Niantic agrees with these players and they're trying to take action against these players by handing out bans. It is possible to get a devoted for several hours, days, or even for ever. permanent bans as penalty.

It is still unclear how Niantic will detect these cheating users. It is certain that different users have been banned. Have you also had a "spell," an issue, have you been banned - for life, unjustly? Then you can fill out a form on their site to indicate that you are wrongfully removed from the game.
