JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Functions

• Initial third party discovery of control maturity via questionnaires, external meetings with third parties as well as internal team meetings with Supplier Managers.
• Scoping assessment topics based Express Scripts threat model.
• Identifying and confirming third party control strengths and weaknesses.
• Control documentation.
• On-site assessments as needed.
• Provide input into all aspects of the third party risk assessment process including vendor manager communications, report generation, and issue remediation tracking.
• Identify continued ways to improve Express Scripts risk-based approach for third party security risk management, including:
• Methods to scope supplier assessments via threat modeling.
• Alignment between security standards and supplier contract requirements.
• Improve supplier assessment standards and checklists.
• Provide input into third party security risk metrics and scorecards.
• Provide input to improvements to our GRC tool used to track supplier security risk.

 
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer related field, or 14 – 18 years equivalent experience
• 8 – 12 years of relevant working experience; 5+ years experience in information systems environment, preferably in IT Security
• Certification in information security (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) preferred
• Familiarity with external regulations, e.g., DIACAP, HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley; Strong understanding of information security principles; Familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures; Understanding of data communication networks; Experience with security tools and systems; PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate with internal/external entities and executives a must;
• Effective leadership skills, demonstrated ability to coordinate people and teams to project/activity completion and the ability to work in a team environment, sharing workloads and responsibilities;
• Customer service-oriented;
• Ability to work in a flexible environment where requirements and procedures continuously evolve;
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
