"Plus, people live at a slower pace. It's like the 50s—everyone sits on their front porches. Kids ride their bikes all over town and then head home at sunset. There's no keeping up with the Joneses. "It's refreshing. It's comfortable. It's easy. And it's cheap. The annual property tax on my house is $141." Bonnie is our correspondent based in Nicaragua.
