How to Improve Your Communication and Sales Skills 8 (The Close)
For additional information Click Here!
The next step in the sales process “The Close” is typically considered the big mystery to the whole sales process, when in reality, if you have done the previous steps, is actually pretty simple.
The Close does not have to be any complicated process; in fact, it can be as easy as “From what you have heard so far are you ready to get started with me?”
As Eric shares with us, “the Close is the natural progression to a well presented presentation” meaning if you have done the previous steps, you have taken your prospect to the point they can make an informed “Buying Decision.”
To do a quick review, you initially generated the leads, you set an appointment (sharing the benefits of the appoint) and on the appointment(s) you created trust and rapport and through that process you identified the customer’s needs and shared the benefits with them. Now you have the prospect ready to either buy or give you an objection.
One of the big things I learned from Eric when it comes to closing is along the way, go for trial closes, meaning questions to determine if the prospect is moving or ready to purchase.
One of the things many people new to sales do is give way too much information and that can distract, or give the prospect other objections you will have to deal with later on.
If after a trial close, you get a favorable response, you can move right to the final close.
I really don’t have the space in this to give you a detailed description of some of the closes Eric teaches, although, when you subscribe to his three-video series, the final video is where he goes on to describe the process in greater detail.

Did you catch what I just did?
I just used a closing technique with you…
Yep, asking someone to click on a link in an email or article like this is a Close!
Depending on the circumstances, it can be a trial or final close. In this case it is more of trial close, to see if anyone reading this is ready to take action on what I am sharing.
In reality, I was simply looking to “close” you to the next part of the sales process, which is signing up to get the three videos, which is part of the sales process to joining one of Eric’s training programs.
In Today’s Video Mike will share with you the value of getting Micro Commitments and how they help you close more and more sales.
My thanks in advance for your time and attention
