So, what are the best self-hosted blogging platforms available to you?
There are plenty of options; Wix, Weebly, Joomla, and Squarespace to name a few… but my recommendation is WordPress.org.
Here's why:
- It's the most customizable solution for beginners because it has pre-built themes, plugins, and other customization options that anyone can use to make their website look unique.
- It's been around for a long time, has a lot of users, and is subsequently built for stability and longevity.
- Most WordPress.org themes are optimized to help your site rank in search engines without too much technical knowledge.
